FUNDING ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  •  Currently reside in Canada
  •  Have 3 or more years of work experience in any field, not limited to cybersecurity (including paid and unpaid volunteering and a combination of full-time or part-time work)
  •  Be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or a protected person who has been granted refugee status in Canada
  •  Not have participated in or received funding from any Upskill Canada-funded programs, either currently or in the past
  •  Have a high school diploma or equivalent
  •  Be at latest 18 years old
  •  Be proficient in English (documentation may be requested if secondary or post-secondary education was not completed in English)
  •  Successfully pass the training program admission tests and interview
  •  Understand the dedication and commitment required to complete the intensive retraining program offered
  •  Be legally entitled to work in Canada
